How does CSS's myFlex system work?▼
The myFlex system offers three categories: Economy (basic cover), Balance (extended cover) and Premium (comprehensive cover). For each product (outpatient, hospital, alternative) you choose your desired category. Every 5 years you can upgrade without health questions.
Which supplementary insurance plans does CSS offer?▼
CSS offers four main products: myFlex outpatient (medication, vision aids, prevention, treatment abroad), myFlex hospital (free choice of hospital, choice of ward), dental care (4 variants with 50–75% coverage) and myFlex alternative insurance (around 80 recognised methods such as acupuncture and osteopathy).
Is there a family discount at CSS?▼
Yes, CSS grants a 50% family discount for children on all myFlex products (outpatient, hospital, alternative).
How much does CSS supplementary insurance cost?▼

Do I need a dental certificate for CSS dental insurance?▼
Yes, a dental certificate is required to take out CSS dental care. There is also a waiting period of 6 months (1 year for dental prosthetics such as crowns and bridges).
