Frequently asked questions

How much does the health insurance comparison cost at easyall?

The comparison and taking out a policy are completely free of charge for you. easyall is funded through brokerage commissions paid by the insurers and gives you part of them back as cashback.

How does the cashback work?

When you take out an insurance policy through easyall, easyall receives a commission from the insurer. We pay part of this commission back to you as cashback, so you save on top of the lower premium.

When can I switch my health insurer?

You can give ordinary notice to terminate your basic insurance as of 31 December; the cancellation must reach your current insurer by 30 November at the latest. With the standard model and a CHF 300 deductible, a switch is additionally possible as of 30 June.

What is the difference between basic and supplementary insurance?

Basic insurance (OKP) is compulsory and legally identical across all insurers; only the premium, model and service differ. Supplementary insurance (VVG) is voluntary, requires a health assessment and covers additional benefits such as a stay in the private ward of a hospital, dental treatment or alternative medicine.

Is easyall really independent?

Yes. easyall is an untied insurance intermediary and is not bound to any insurance company. easyall creates the recommendations from your information using its own fixed rules, among the insurers included in the comparison: what counts first is how completely the chosen categories and your wishes are covered. After that, price decides for Basic; for Balanced and Comprehensive, quality of cover decides first and only then price. The recommended package of a lower level never costs more than that of a higher level. Commissions and cashback play no part in the ranking.

What insurance models are available and how do I save?

In addition to the standard model, there are lower-cost models: family doctor, HMO and telemedicine. You commit to contacting a designated contact point first when you fall ill, and in return your premium drops significantly. A higher deductible also lowers the premium.

Can I upload my current policy?

Yes. Upload your existing policy as a PDF or photo, and easyall automatically extracts your place of residence, year of birth, model and your supplementary insurance policies, then shows you suitable, often cheaper alternatives. The file is only processed to extract this information and is not stored.
