How the 2027 premium season unfolds
- 129 September 2026: the FOPH published the approved 2027 premiums for all cantons.
- 2By 31 October 2026: your health insurer informs you in writing of your new premium.
- 3Monday, 30 November 2026: the cancellation of your basic insurance must reach your current insurer by then; the switch takes effect on 1 January 2027.

Are the 2027 health insurance premiums already known?
Yes. The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) published the approved 2027 premiums on 29 September 2026. In the easyall calculator you see the 2027 premiums of the compared health insurers, less the redistribution of environmental levies.
By when can I switch my basic insurance for 2027?
Your cancellation must reach your current health insurer by Monday, 30 November 2026; what counts is receipt, not the postmark. The switch then takes effect on 1 January 2027 (Art. 7 para. 2 KVG).
What is the premium alert for now?
It reminds you of the next premium round: when the FOPH publishes the 2028 premiums, usually at the end of September, you receive an email with a link to the calculator. The service is free. You confirm your email address via the link in our email (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time.
