Method and source

Adult (born 1990), with accident cover, premium region of the cantonal capital, all models (standard, family doctor, HMO, telemedicine). The cheapest premium and the average refer to the CHF 300 deductible, and the third premium column to the CHF 2,500 deductible. The average is the unweighted mean of all tariffs compared in the region. Health insurers that are not in our comparison are also missing from the table. Source: premiums 2027 approved by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH), less the redistribution of environmental levies. Compiled on 22.10.2026.

The change compares the 2027 average with the 2026 average of the same compilation.

FOPH columns: average monthly premium per canton over all insured persons and age groups, including optional deductibles and models, rounded, published by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) on 29.09.2026. These figures do not come from our evaluation and cannot be compared directly with our comparison figures.
